At this year’s NYC ABE Conference, Jane, Eric and Mark brought back the Grid Power problem from the summer 0f 2016.
To kick things off, we gave a brief presentation including:
- A numerical glance at CAMI
- A list of every adult education provider in NYC that has had a teacher attending a CAMI meeting
- A map of the locations of every NYC CAMI meeting since November 2014.

We then spent 7 minutes looking at the following piece of paper:
And slowly, questions started to emerge
We spent the rest of our time in groups working on that final question – How many squares are there on a 7 by 7 grid?
